Sunnyvale to Host Wrestling FUNdamentals Camp Featuring Elite Clinician Jeff Marsh

Sunnyvale, CA — Young wrestlers across the Bay Area will have the opportunity to elevate their skills this summer at the Wrestling FUNdamentals Camp, hosted by Sunnyvale Wrestling Club and led by nationally respected clinician Jeff Marsh, known as “The Wrestling Coach.”

The camp will take place June 15–18, 2026, at Fremont High School in Sunnyvale, and is open to K–8 grade wrestlers of all experience levels.

Jeff Marsh brings an accomplished background in both competition and coaching. A Michigan high school state champion, he went on to become a four-year letter winner and NCAA qualifier at the University of Michigan. Following his collegiate career, Marsh coached at Edge Wrestling Club—one of the nation’s premier training programs—as well as at Stevens Institute of Technology. He later served in a national leadership role with Beat the Streets, helping expand access to wrestling opportunities for youth across the country.

The Wrestling FUNdamentals Camp will focus on the essential skills that build successful wrestlers, including stance, motion, positioning, and mat awareness. Athletes will receive hands-on instruction in takedowns, escapes, and top control, while developing the discipline, confidence, and work ethic that carry over beyond the mat.

Designed for beginners through experienced youth wrestlers, the camp will provide a high-energy environment that blends technical instruction, drilling, and live wrestling, all tailored to meet athletes at their skill level.

Hosted by Sunnyvale Wrestling Club, the camp is expected to draw participants from across the region and offers a valuable opportunity for young athletes to train locally with a coach of national caliber.
