SYWL Always Flies By

Year two has moved faster than year one did, and that is fast. We are in our final week of the Sunnyvale Youth Wrestling League and the 2nd year has brought many additions and improvements, hopefully the people who have witnessed and participated in both years have felt the impact. 

This Friday we will be competing at Fremont High School. All parents should plan on attending and ALL wrestlers will need a ride home from parents. This event will be a little longer than our past competitions due to Olympian Boris Novachkov doing a clinic along with the group warm up. Following the clinic we will be doing our last competitions. Our end time will be somewhere between 5 PM and 5:30 PM. 

Saturday will be our league final tournament at Fremont High School. Please show up for weigh ins and registration by 8 AM. There will be a clinic at 9 AM and wrestling will begin at 10 AM. 

Tuesday October 25th we will be having a Pizza Party at KnockOut Pizza. CLICK HERE to see the flyer. 

Lastly, but definitely not least, we will continue offering wrestling opportunities for those who would like to continue with the sport beginning on Monday October 24th. This will be our Folkstyle Youth Club and will continue twice a week until mid-march. Please CLICK HERE for more info and sign up.
