Coach Tariq has a wealth of knowledge and we are excited that is part of our coaching staff. His last high school head coaching gig was for Cupertino High School and he was a college wrestler at UC Davis. What his focus at Sunnyvale Wrestling Club has been is Greco. He is a Concord Cup placer in Greco and taken trips to Japan to train in Greco. Coach Tariq was also a Muay Thai National Champion. He is our resident Greco expert but well versed in all styles and in other combat sports. We are lucky to have Coach Tariq as part of our coaching staff.
