Frank Shamrock makes an appearance at Competition #2

The second set of takedown dual meets at San Miguel Elementary School pitted Lakewood, coach by Josh DeSherlia, vs San Miguel Elementary, coached by Daniel Atondo and Vargas Elementary, coach by David Tran, vs Bishop Elementary, coached by Greg Crane. All the wrestlers got some mat experience and have now had 3 weeks of wrestling. Frank Shamrock, Ex-UFC Champion, was in town doing an assembly at Columbia Middle School and stopped by the duals, showed off his championship belts and signed some autographs. Practices continue next week on Tuesday as we advance to top and bottom wrestling.
