Wrestling isn’t for the faint of heart. It is a tough sport. Everyone who sets foot on the mat acknowledges that there are life lessons learned, no matter the duration of their participation, in the sport. Those who fall in love with this sport have characteristics that make them different from others. They are separate from the others in society whom are not capable of the discipline, dedication, and determination it takes to compete in wrestling. Black Sheep are defined by a separation from the group. By placing value in characteristics that create success in wrestling we promote a cultural change that may go against the norm in today’s society. We place little value in status, income, and vanity. We believe the characteristics that we are trying to instill do not just better the individual, but also benefit our whole community. The value we place in these characteristics make us Black Sheep.
Are you tough enough to be a Black Sheep?
